Our liquorice toffee is made with liquorice extract, unlike many ‘liquorice‘ sweets that use anise instead (because it’s the cheap alternative!), so our liquorice toffee has a beautiful slow-build in flavour.

This isn’t artificially coloured black either, because we don’t use artificial colours!

Pan cooked to create the perfect traditional toffee taste and long lasting chew (just a little softer to be kinder to your teeth!).

What is ‘Caramel Toffee‘?

Well, it’s: ‘Not too hard, and not too soft‘

We’ve found that some people assume that ‘toffee’ is rock hard, like a ‘Butterscotch’, but that’s not the kind of toffee we make! Our toffee is firm, but quickly softens for a mouthwatering chew, like the chewy toffees Mackintosh (Rowntree’s) created a hundred odd years ago, combining recipes for caramels and toffees, and creating a toffee that was ‘Not too hard, and not too soft‘.
