Malt contains a small amount of gluten (we’ve calculated approx. 80 parts per million in our recipe), which although very low, it’s not low enough to be labelled as gluten-free and suitable for coeliacs (that requires 20ppm or less). As a matter of reference, bread contains on average 10,000ppm of gluten.
