unrefined sugar, glucose syrup, malt (barley), golden syrup, bicarbonate soda, margarine (contains sunflower oil & vegetable oils), vanilla extract. Chocolate contains 42% cocoa solids, sugar, cocoa butter, soya flour, sunflower lecithin.
Malt contains a tiny amount of gluten (we’ve calculated approx. 60 to 80 parts per million in our recipe), which although very low, it’s not low enough to be labelled as gluten-free and suitable for coeliacs (that requires 20ppm). As a matter of reference, bread contains on average 10,000ppm of gluten.
