What is ‘Caramel Toffee‘?
It’s Not too hard, and not too soft
We’ve found that some people assume that ‘toffee’ is rock hard, like a ‘Butterscotch’, but that’s not the kind of toffee we make! Our toffee is firm, but quickly softens for a mouthwatering chew, like the chewy toffees Mackintosh (Rowntree’s) created a hundred plus years ago, combining recipes for caramels and toffees, and creating a toffee that was ‘Not too hard, and not too soft‘. For a while Mackintosh marketed his softer, chewier toffees as ‘Caramel Toffee’, and we think that perfectly describes our toffees too!

Sold as a traditional slab, scored for snapping off chunks, or give it a whack before you open it.
